REFLECTIONS (CARE ENOUGH)

In September 2001, "Reflections (care enough)" was released in Japan as the second single from the "Glitter" album. In other countries, "Never too far" was the second single. "Reflections" is presented as an abandoned daughter's plea to her mother. However, Mariah has always been quite elliptic with her revelations and it's not difficult to read other meaning into the words. The song is both one of internal sorrow and personal strength that showcases Carey' s ability to connect with her audience through the power of musical storytelling.
