The quiet changes of "Till the end of time", with its gentle, almost lullaby melody, gave the impression that it was the final track of the album "Emotions", the winding-down of a night. It was a love song, directed at a boyfriend, but with the overall impression that Mariah was actually saying it to herself, rather than to him in the flesh. As it was, it worked perfectly as a segue between the rest of the album and its actual last cut, "The wind". "Till the end of time" was never commercially released as a single.
