Wedded dis from Mariah


Mariah Carey isn't afraid to talk about ex-husband Tommy Mottola anymore. Back when Mottola was chairman of Sony Music and she was one of his artists, the pop princess watched what she said about their relationship, which ended in May 1997. But now that she's free of him, Carey can't resist tweaking the starmaker.
In the September issue of Maxim, she's asked what marriage has taught her. "To stay away from it!" she says with a laugh. The bikini-clad diva shows readers of the lad mag the body she says Mottola used to keep under wraps. "I was in a relationship that was confining, where I had to wear turtlenecks and long pants, and that wasn't me," says Carey, whose make-you-sweat workout CD "The Re-Mixes" is due out next month.
She also says that life with Mottola showed her that music business execs are "Brutal! I would hear the way they talk behind the artists' backs because I had the unique position of being there behind closed doors. It wasn't pretty."
Having dated Derek Jeter and Luis Miguel, she says she's also had her fill of famous boyfriends. "With another celebrity, there are egos," she says. "It's like, 'Which fan came up to me and asked for an autograph and didn't ask you?' Everybody wants to be a big power couple in Hollywood, but who really cares?"
