Mariah Carey to premiere video for "Triumphant" tonight
If the teaser photos that Mariah Carey posted featuring herself in a gold dress and Meek Mill in a boxing ring didn't get you excited for her video for "Triumphant (Get 'Em)", we're on a different wavelength because we are literally counting down the hours until we can watch it.
Thankfully we won't have to wait long because late last night Carey announced via Twitter that the video - which also features Rick Ross - will premiere on BET tonight. The clip was directed by Carey's husband Nick Cannon and is going to be on Carey's upcoming album which comes out sometime next year.
"Meek adds an excitement, a newness to the record that is pretty rare right now," Carey explained during a conference call with press this month. "Working with Ross and Meek on the same record was incredible. Obviously, Ross is a star and everybody loves him. I think the contrast of his voice and mine would be something special. I always like to do collaborations that people might think are different." (MySpace)
