Mariah Carey teases new single
Mariah Carey hit Twitter earlier this week to tell her fans that she's hitting the studio to mix a new single. Mimi posted a photo of herself hanging on the set of American Idol with the following message: "Off to mix my new single. Music is life (that's not the song title ha ha)."
Music releases have been sparse for Carey over the past couple years. "Triumphant (Get 'Em)", featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill, dropped last year, while this year has seen the release of "Almost Home", a single from the Oz: the Great and Powerful soundtrack.
Last week, Mimi hit Twitter to post a pic of her with Rodney "Darkchild" Jenkins and Jermaine Dupri, two hot producers with whom Carey is likely working with on her upcoming LP. (RTT News)
