Mariah performs hits medley on American Idol finale
Last night on the American Idol finale, Mariah performed a medley of some of her biggest hits: "Vision of Love", "Make It Happen", "My All", "Hero", "We Belong Together" and her latest smash single "#Beautiful", that reached #1 on Billboard's R&B Digital Songs chart on the day of the performance.
Mariah pre-taped her performance in front of a live audience on Wednesday, May 15. A crowd of thousands stood in line, waiting to be let in to the special taping. Mariah recorded a few takes of the performance and surprised her fans by singing their song requests in between takes, such as "Can't Let Go", "Underneath The Stars", "Breakdown", "The Roof", "Always Be My Baby" and "Heartbreaker".
