Mariah Carey ft. Miguel & Young Jeezy
Mariah Carey rings up the services of Young Jeezy and DJ Mustard for one of her "#Beautiful" remix. After serving up a few different versions, the Snowman's vocals and Mustard's slight twist on the production add a little more snap to the track.
And I point out the sound of Jeezy's voice over his rhymes. Much like his arch-nemesis Ricky Ross, Young's at the point where all he does is sling rich sounding words that don't make a whole lot of sense but sound superb when strung together because of his tone. Here, the tactic works we're working with bubblegum pop where depth isn't a requirement for a record to be deemed "#Beautiful". (The Smoking Section)
