Mariah Carey gets Coveteur'd

We don't want to knock current-day Mariah Carey, but we're pretty positive that she'll never be better than she was in the '90s. No disrespect to the signer now, of course; it's just that the days of "Fantasy" and "Dreamlover" are impossibly hard to top. There wasn't a schoolgirl that didn't have a well-worn copy of her cassette tape and a few posters taped to her wall. For our part, we drove our parents crazy playing "Someday" on repeat during every single car ride of elementary school.

So, to celebrate the singer's absolute heyday, the geniuses over at The Coveteur decided to put together a special Throwback Thursday. Call it a total Mariah Carey retrospective - of only the best years. The team dug through the archives and picked out classic M.C. pics, from photo shoots and award shows to behind-the-scenes recording sessions with Miss Whitney Houston. And, of course, it had to include a few present-day snaps of the mother of two with her picture-perfect family. See Mariah doin' her thang, and don't be afraid to let your inner fangirl out. And, maybe even belt out a lyric or two of "All I Want for Christmas". 'Tis the season, after all.
