Mariah Carey's album gets pushed back... again

If you've been waiting patiently for Mariah Carey's new album to drop on May 6th ever since seeing that grandiose YouTube video of the diva listing all of her many accomplishments, then you're going to be very disappointed. Although Mimi hasn't confirmed anything herself, the album has been removed from the release schedule on both Hits Double Daily and Island's official website.

The possible pushback comes after the poor performance of Mimi's last single, "You're Mine (Eternal)", which peaked briefly at No. 88 on the Hot 100 before completely disappearing. The album was originally due out in March of last year, but has consistently been delayed for various reasons. There's been criticism of how the album's been managed, with L.A. Reid recently throwing some Twitter shade at Mimi's current manager, producer Jermaine Dupri. Flop or not, I just want this damn album to come out already. Get it together, Mariah!
