Mariah Carey dons flame-hued tube dress over bikini

Mariah Carey donned a flame-hued tube dress over a red bikini for late hot tub fun with her three-year-old twins on Monday night. The 45-year-old pop diva beamed as Monroe and Moroccan crawled over her on the rooftop of the family's Manhattan highrise. "Hot tub time. Roc and Roe said let's go. Come on," she tweeted to her 15.1 million followers.

Earlier that day, the fraternal twin toddlers wore matching striped PJs to put on a "cooking show" for the five-time Grammy winner. On Sunday night, Mariah and her children - nicknamed Dem Babies - also took a late-night dip in the family jacuzzi.

The American Red Cross recommends that no children under age 5 should enter a hot tub, and most public pools don't allow anyone under age 12. Regardless, small children should really not spend more than 10 minutes in a spa heated at 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Not splashing around was Carey's husband of six years, Nick Cannon, who gave her a shout-out while presenting at the BET Awards in Los Angeles Sunday. Little Monroe makes her singing debut on her famous mother's album Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse for a song called Supernatural.

"It's a song that I wrote with Bryan-Michael Cox and Jermaine Dupri. There's a part that Jermaine says on the song that the kids loved, and Monroe started to say it," Mariah told People in February. "I kept having to get my iPhone and record her. So I have all these different takes of her saying things, singing things. Then I'd be like, 'This is your new ad lib - learn it!' I have to make it fun for her."

The former American Idol judge will next use her five-octave voice alongside the New York Philharmonic for a free concert benefiting Superstorm Sandy victims on July 13 at New York's Central Park. Meanwhile, the 33-year-old rapper has been been busy hosting the ninth season of America's Got Talent airing Tuesdays on NBC. Nick's directorial debut School Dance will come out July 2 starring Kevin Hart, Amber Rose, and Wilmer Valderram
