Mariah performs "Meteorite" at World Music Awards
Mariah Carey kicked off the World Music Awards with a bang. The best-selling female artist of all time opened the 2014 show, which was taped in May in Monte Carlo, with a dazzling performance of "Meteorite" off her latest album Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse.
While standing under disco balls, a glamorous Mimi belted out the Q-Tip-produced disco groove, while her dancers glided across the stage on roller skates. She was also presented with the Pop Icon Award for selling over 200 million records and having more No. 1 singles in the U.S. than any other solo artist. (Rap-Up)
