Nick Cannon demanded DJ to stop playing Mariah music
No longer a fan! Nick Cannon's marriage to Mariah Carey is over, and so is his interest in hearing her catchy tunes. An insider tells Us Weekly that the America's Got Talent host recently "flipped out" when one of her songs played at Chris Paul's L.A. charity bowling tournament at AMF Bowl-o-Drome on January 8.
"Nick looked irritated - he was cringing," the source tells Us. "Nick had a publicist go over to the DJ and demand he stop playing Mariah's tracks." Cannon and Carey wed in April 2008 and welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011. They announced their separation back in August, with Cannon reportedly filing for divorce last month.
Cannon opened up about the split to Meredith Vieira in October. "It's truly just staying focused on family and what's right and getting through these times and just doing what's right for the kids," he said at the time. "We spend holidays together, we do everything that we're supposed to do together." (Us Weekly)
