Mariah Carey to re-release "Merry Christmas" album
With Christmas just over six months away, Mariah Carey is making plans and has teased fans about the now-confirmed re-release of her classic 1994 festivel record "Merry Christmas" - the album which featured the iconic "All I Want For Christmas Is You".
Speaking to Australian radio hosts Kyle & Jackie O, she said: "I'm going to be in New York at the Beacon Theatre this coming Christmas. We're re-releasing the Christmas album. It's going to be something very special for the fans for Christmas."
The LP will be the follow-up to her recently updates greatest hits album "#1 To Infinity", released earlier in the month to coincide with her Caesars Palace residency in Las Vegas. "Merry Christmas" has become a huge staple in Mariah's career, and has to-date sold over 15 million copies worldwide. (FemaleFirst)
