She's not one to shy away from flaunting her enviable figure in a seriously stylish outfit. But Mariah Carey nearly fell foul of a wardrobe malfunction during a night out in Los Angeles, on Monday, as she struggled to contain her ample assets in a LBD.
Cutting a sassy and saucy figure in the skin-tight satin number, the 46-year-old Without You singer appeared to be battling with the perilously plunging neckline to retain her modesty. The chart-topping siren cut an arresting sight as she emerged from the Mastro Steakhouse following a late night meal.
Leaving the upmarket eatery with a group of friends, the Hero singer managed to catch the neckline of her mini dress just before it slipped. And despite the near nip-slip Mariah appeared to be in high spirits, as she laughed and chatted away to her group as they made a beeline for her car.
However, it appears that the New Yorker was more than happy to flaunt another part of her figure, as she proudly showed off her famous derriere in the clinging black garment. Though she may have struggled with her wardrobe at the end of the evening, the singer looked sensational in the skint-tight satin number.
Featuring semi-sheer paneled detailing, the mini dress allowed the singer to flash plenty of flesh as well as her figure, thanks to its perilously plunging neckline. And sticking to her simple yet sassy look, Mariah added a pair of killer suede stilettos (also in black), which only served to accentuate her figure.
Adding a relaxed and edgy element to her look, she shrugged on a black leather biker jacket, whilst the singer accessorised her look with her usual smattering of sparkling bling-tastic jewellery. Wearing her golden tresses in waving curls down past her shoulder, Mariah allowed her locks to frame her pretty features, which she accentuated with a subtle and natural make-up palette.
The singer was without her fiance James Packer, who proposed to her in Januray with ring worth a reported $7.5million. However, in an appearance on the Live with Kelly show earlier on in the day, she revealed that her wedding might not be a society affair - hinting that it could be more intimate than previously speculated.
After the hosts Kelly Ripa and Jussie Smollett had asked whether she'd have a reception or "after-party", Mariah replied coyly: "Reception is for if you have a big wedding. I never said it was gonna be a big wedding."
