Are Mariah Carey and James Packer heading for a split? After all their wedding delays, breakup rumors have been swirling. A new report claims that Carey, 46, and Packer, 49, went off on a vacation to Mykonos to work on their relationship. "The trip was a last-ditch effort to save their romance," a source told Radar Online. "They're struggling." But other insiders say Carey and Packer simply aren't in a rush to walk down the aisle.
Carey and Packer first started dating back in the summer of 2015. And they got engaged in January. Carey quickly started planning her lavish wedding. She even had her wedding dress all picked out. But they soon delayed the wedding. Carey said in June that the wedding plans were taking a lot of time. "We're getting it together, darling," Carey told E! News. "You know what? It's time. The dress and the whole thing. I'm working and he's working and everyone puts so much pressure."
Other sources said Nick Cannon hadn't signed off on the divorce papers. "I wish it was that easy where you can just sign something and say, 'Oh, I'm done', but it's a lot of things that go with that that are beyond my control," he said. "The only thing that's important to me is my children. I want what's best for them. I believe my ex feels the exact same way."
So are the split rumors true or false? While they aren't getting married tomorrow, Carey and Packer are still very much together. In fact, they looked happier than ever while having fun in the sun with Monroe and Moroccan in Greece.
