Alan Carr says he was gobsmacked by Mariah Carey's outrageous demands when she was a guest on his Chatty Man talkshow. The 40-year-old funnyman has been reflecting on the past seven years of his Channel 4 show and shared a tale of how 46-year-old Mimi once demanded the entire set be rearranged.
It is no secret that Mariah has always felt she has a "good side" with reports over the years that she will demand photographers only snap her from certain angles, and Alan's account would suggest she takes this demand to the max.
"Mariah requested she only be filmed from the left side and that the set would have to be rotated 180 degrees to accommodate this," the comedy star reveals. "We all laughed - I did my 'what are you like' face, but hers remained the same," he told The Sun. "We didn't rotate it, I don't think we actually could, and to this day I don't know if she was joking," he said.
Mariah joined Alan on the sofa back in November 2009 where they popped open a bottle of the singer's Angel champagne and talked all about her early career as a waitress, life with then husband Nick Cannon, and her music.
Mimi will soon be returning to the small screen on the E! network with a reality show chronicling her recent Sweet Sweet Fantasy world tour and her wedding plans for her upcoming nuptials to Australian billionaire James Packer.
