Mariah keeps her options open
Singer Mariah Carey has sensibly lined up a second career, should things go wrong with
showbiz. The Dreamlover hitster researched her latest movie role, that of a waitress in
a Mafia restaurant, by going undercover and applying for a job in a real Brooklyn restaurant.
A crewmember from Wise Girls says, "She was pretending to be looking for work and put on an
Italian New York accent. The guy said she looked like 'that singer' but Mariah kept up the
act and landed the job."
