Michelle Obama's Valentine's Day playlist

Barack and Michelle Obama's unfailing love never ceases to amaze us. So it shouldn't come as a surprise when they send sweet shoutouts to each other in honor of Valentine's Day, but alas, here we are, reaching for the tissues.

The former first lady went for a creative and unconventional show of affection - she made her husband a playlist of 44 love songs, in honor of the 44th president (I know). And if it couldn't get sweeter, the collection, which ranges from timeless classics to new romantic favorites, is titled "Forever Mine". "Happy Valentine's Day to my one and only, Barack Obama. To celebrate the occasion, I'm dedicating a little Valentine's Day playlist to you," she tweeted.

The list includes "Halo" by Beyoncé, "Always Be My Baby" by Mariah Carey, "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys and upbeat songs like "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston and "We Found Love" by Rihanna and Calvin Harris. Tunes by icons like Diana Ross, Elton John, Barry White and Stevie Wonder are also in the mix. And of course there's Etta James' "At Last", which Beyoncé sang for the couple during their first dance at the 2009 inauguration ball.

Barack shared his own Valentine's Day message promptly after and shared a throwback photo with Michelle from a family vacation. "Happy Valentine's Day, Michelle Obama," he captioned the pic of them embracing. "You make every day and every place better."
