Mariah Carey is totally over you on "GTFO"

Mariah Carey is not playing around on "GTFO", the smooth, but spiky new track the singer dropped on Thursday morning (September 13). With a subtle, skittery beat from Nineteen85 (Drake), the song comes on like a whispery ballad, with Carey in her classic bedroom eyes, come-hither mode, until she hits the chorus and sings in no uncertain terms, "How about you get the [censored] out?"

The kiss-off to an untrustworthy lover will appear on Carey's upcoming, as-yet-untitled 15th album, due out later this year, preceded by the first official single, "With You", which is slated for an October 5 release. "You took my love for granted. You left me lost and disenchanted. Bulldoze my heart as if you planned it. My prince was so unjustly handsome," Carey sings in the first verse over the spare, icy track.

And while the heartbreak song about pointing to the door is tinged with some sadness over a love lost, Carey is clearly in control, telling her knight in rachet armor to just grab his things and go, lamenting that her friends tried to warn her not once, but twice. "Go stay at your friend's house or something," she coos. "Take your shit and leave." Any questions?
