Rebel Wilson has a story about Mariah Carey

It looks like Rebel Wilson will never forget hanging out in Aspen with Mariah Carey. While appearing on "The Ellen Show" Monday, the "Pitch Perfect" star told a hilarious story about a recent trip to Aspen, Colorado where she partied with the singer at a club. However, they almost were denied entry into the hot spot because Carey had a fashion emergency. Well, kind of.

"Obviously like I love Carey's music and so went to a place called the Caribou Club," Wilson recalled to Ellen. "I felt like so cool because normally I don't go out to clubs. I know I look like a partier, but normally it's more bubble baths for me."

According to the actress, Wilson and Carey encountered a problem when they went to enter the building, as security stopped them and demanded they remove their coats before coming inside. And Carey, for one, wasn't having it. "Mariah's like, 'No, my coat is part of the outfit. No'," Wilson said. "And it's freezing cold outside the club so we really wanted to get in!" Luckily, it all worked out and the pop diva took one for the team.

"At the end of the day, Carey did what is best for the group and we got in," Wilson said. "She's a team player. But she's such an awesome lady. And then inside the club they started playing her songs 'cause she's in there. We were like, 'Yeah!' dancing. So it turned out alright."

But that wasn't the only funny anecdote from the "How to be Single" star's trip to Aspen. Wilson, who ended her 2018 or "year of fun" in the ski resort town, recalled how she had to be "medically rescued" from the top of the mountain at one point because she "forgot" how to ski.

"The instructor was like, 'Okay, you just have to ski down now'," Wilson recalled. "And I was like, 'Aww, I don't know.' And I skied for like a 100 feet, Ellen." Although Wilson admitted there was "not technically" anything wrong with her, she had to get rescued from the hill. "It was more just a vibe that I didn't want to ski down the massive hill."

"This lovely gentleman Scott came and rescued me in a sled," she continued. "But he said in order to get enough speed to get to the bottom, we have to go off the side of a cliff. So that ended up being more scary than actually skiing. I was freaking out. I lost my poles, I lost my shit going down on this little sled."
