Mariah Carey to headline Festival d'ete de Quebec

The annual Festival d'ete de Quebec (FEQ) will return for its 52nd year in 2019 with headliners Mariah Carey, Chvrches, alt-J, Blink-182 and Lynyrd Skynyrd. With over 325,000 attendees, FEQ spans 11 days, from July 4 -14 in the heart of Quebec City and will also feature performances from Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons, Slipknot, Kygo and Diplo.

Other announced artists include Courtney Barnett, Live, Nick Murphy (FKA Chet Faker), Taking Back Sunday, Saves the Day, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, First Aid Kit and Rodrigo y Gabriela. Buddy Guy, Daniel Caesar, A Day to Remember, Lil Pump, The Offspring and Bishop Briggs are also amongst the eclectic artists set to play across the city.

More than 250 performances take place in 10 venues, including the festival's main Bell Stage, situated on the Plains of Abraham, a historic battlefield. Fans will be able to check out new venue the Quebec Armory (Manège militaire des Voltigeurs de Québec), with a terrace that faces the Plains of Abraham.

Passes go on sale at noon on Thursday (April 4) and are $105 CAD (less than $80 USD) for all 11 days and are transferable. FEQ also features free entertainment daily at two outdoor stages.
