Mariah Carey likes to share a throwback or two and this time she showed just how her daughter is growing up to be just like her. The proud mum gushed over her daughter's identical looks to her famous mum complete with matching curls.
The pair look almost identical in the snap which Mariah posted of her and Monroe, eight, with the youngster wearing a handmade daisy crown. Mariah, 49, wrote alongside the adorable pictures of her daughter with a kissing emoji: "Always be my baby."
The icon shares Monroe, and twin brother Morocco, with ex-husband Nick Cannon, who she was married to for eight years before splitting in 2016. The US singer-songwriter is currently on her Caution World Tour, recently performing three nights at the Royal Albert Hall in London, before making her way across Europe.

She's released her latest album of the same name and jokingly responded to one of her fans celebrating her back catalogue. The account wrote it was "29 years ago today that Mariah made her first appearance on the Hot 100 with Vision of Love, and has since gone on to earn a record breaking 18 number 1 hits and ranks as the fifth biggest singles artist of all time".
A cheeky Mariah shared the career facts adding: "I think you mean 2 years ago. Lol." Mariah also made a similar joke sharing a clip of her singing at a basketball game writing: "I'll never forget this moment. On this day two years ago."
