Janet Jackson is preparing her claws for a cat fight with rival diva Mariah Carey. Miffed Janet is demanding Virgin put back new signing Mariah's forthcoming film soundtrack album by four months to prevent it clashing with her new release, "All For You".
Janet is testing if she is still the record firm's top artist after Virgin gave Mariah pounds 16 million-an-album to her pounds 7 million. An insider said: "Janet's been kicking up a fuss. She considered herself reigning diva at Virgin but Mariah is No 1 now. Janet's worried the label will spend more time promoting Mariah's albums than hers."
