Fighting words


Mariah Carey is hissing at a report that she got into a hair-pulling catfight with Mira Sorvino. The National Enquirer claims the brawl occurred last month on the Nova Scotia set of their movie, "Wise Girls". A source tells the tab that Carey had been "consistently" tardy for shoots and that, one day when she showed up three hours late, "Mira lost it [and] lit into her in front of the startled crew and actors."
Carey allegedly responded by hurling a heavy salt shaker at Sorvino, who supposedly ended up wrestling with her on the floor. Sorvino's rep couldn't be reached. Carey's spokeswoman, Cindi Berger, tells us Carey may have been "a little late," but there was no real fighting. "They may have just been blocking a scene. They got along fine."
Carey is in Europe promoting her hit single "Loverboy". She has plans to rest in Sardinia this weekend.
