Mariah mad with Wacko Jacko
Mariah has again come out in support of her ex-husband Tommy Mottola after Michael Jackson labeled the Sony boss a racist, and dragged her into their war of words. Jacko, who is involved in a feud with Sony over their alleged under-promotion of his latest album Invincible, brought Mariah's name up during his accusations, claiming Mottola was tormenting the singer. He said earlier this month, "Mottola taps her phones, and he's very, very evil, she doesn't trust him. We have to continue our drive until he is terminated."
But despite their acrimonious 1998 split, Mariah has publicity denounced the allegations of racism. A spokeswoman for the diva says, "Throughout all the years she's known Tommy, she's never known him to be a racist. Mariah does not feel that he is such a person after all the support he had given her. Michael did not have Mariah's permission or consent to use her in his battle with Sony and did not want any part of it. Mariah feels Michael is wrong and she is rather surprised that he has dragged her into this. She's very upset with him." (WENN)
