Mariah has a new goal in mind
This past year has been nothing but distress, disappointment, and turmoil for diva
Mariah Carey. With a well-publicized nervous breakdown and an album and movie that
are considered to be one of the year's biggest failures, the singer, 32, seemed to
have lost who she was during her tribulations. Carey is convinced she would not have
made it through her troubled time without the love and guidance from God, and has
decided to spend her time on more important things in life and not fooling around in
a bar or nightclub.
"When you come close to losing who you are as a person, it becomes a major wake up
call for you and you realize that you've been doing something wrong and have to make
a change. I'm where I am today because of God. He has given me the strength to overcome
all the bad things. I'm glad to let people know that I triumphed over the stressful
time. And I triumphed over the bad relationships. I am putting myself first from now
on and taking better care of me. And focusing on what's important, like my health and
music and my family. And not taking life for granted. And not dropping everything when
someone calls me or pages me and says meet me at club whatever. I don't have time for
nonsense like that. I would far rather be working. And if not working, seeing my mom
and my family and friends. Or going to church. I've been finding myself spending a lot
of time there lately. Especially over the past few months."
(Celebrity Insider) Many thanks to Mariah Land. |
