Mariah Carey has revealed how her renewed lust for life culminated in her first bungee jumping experience. Mariah, who embarks on her first world tour in eight years in February, told a press conference at the Midem 2000 conference last week that she enjoyed the seemingly near-death sensation.
"I like the words to be free, to be alive, to be happy and to appreciate every moment of life and to experience to the fullest, which I didn't always do. And actually, I went bungee jumping last week for the first time. I thought I'd share that with all of you. Not that you care, but it was fun. And it gave you the sensation of being alive and possibly fearing not being alive, so it was very cool," said Mariah.
With her tour set to kick-off on Valentine's Day, Mariah said she was hoping to bring along a number of high-profile acts, including Missy Elliott, Da Brat, Jay-Z, Snoop Doggy Dog and Boyz II Men. She also revealed her mixed feelings about the Internet. "There are a lot of negative things with the Internet because people can make up rumours and nobody's there to dispute them. It happens, like, basically every day. So it's a love hate relationship." (DotMusic News)
