Carey insists she's sane
Superstar singer Mariah Carey is attempting to put a year of troubles behind her. The singer had a breakdown earlier this year and there were reports of a suicide attempt - but Mariah insists she is totally sane.
She says, "I'm not wacko. I mean we're all wacko sometimes and if we think we're not maybe we are more than we know. It's a personal message to my fans and they understand it."
Having cleared the "wacko" issue up, Mariah went on to deny that she had attempted suicide. She added, "Some kids are such fans that they emulate everything I do. The last thing I would want them to think is if you're having a problem, try to commit suicide." (WENN)
