Mottola's wife to sound very Mariah


Mexican star, and Tommy Mottola's wife Thalia, will release her first album in English, this album will hit stores July 7 through Virgin Records. The first single is "I Want You" featuring Fat Joe. This track has Mariah Carey's secret formula that led her to sell millions (including the hits Honey, Heartbreaker, and recently I Know What You Want), her well-known hip-pop.
Perhaps Mottola recommended her wife to do what her former wife does, I mean this is still working for Carey. Mottola's wife said in a interview she listens to Mariah and admires her music, this could be a reason too. Is she really going to be a success in anglo charts? Repeating what Mariah does from many years ago, and the same thing that others whom followed Mariah's steps.
The single debuts this week at #24 on Airplay Monitor. Thalia worked along with producers Steve Morales (Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias), Rick Wake (Anastacia, Marc Anthony), y Cory Rooney (Jennifer López, Destiny's Child).
