Mariah plays Scotland

Mariah Carey today announced she would bring her sensational Charmbracelet Tour to Glasgow's SECC on Saturday 25th October. Mariah has been inundated with requests to play Scotland by fans and was happy to oblige. The addition of this new date will now mark the beginning of the UK tour and her first ever UK show outside of London.

The Charmbracelet Tour will then visit Birmingham, London and finally Manchester. Tickets for the Glasgow show will go on-sale to the general public on Friday 1st August at 9am. In order to secure the much anticipated date at the extremely busy SECC and to accommodate everyone, Mariah's Manchester show has now been rescheduled from Saturday 25th October to Saturday 1st November.

Her highly anticipated world tour - the superstar's first in over three years - kicked-off in Japan last month. The press not only unanimously declared her golden voice amazingly stimulating for the ears, but also called the show visually stunning and utterly entertaining. With her incomparable show, Mariah has proved yet again why she is the star of all superstars. Mariah now visits America, before arriving in Europe in September.

The Charmbracelet World Tour features Mariah performing hits from her most recent million selling album, Charmbracelet. Released worldwide last December the album has topped the charts around the globe. The album features the fantastic singles "Through The Rain", "Boy (I Need You)" and the recently released smash hit, "I Know What You Want" with Busta Rhymes, which spent 5 weeks in the top 10 in the UK.

Mariah will also perform favourites from her unparalleled career that has spawned a record-breaking 15 number 1 singles worldwide, including, "Fantasy", "Heartbreaker", "Dreamlover" and "Hero" to name a few.
