Mariah Carey drops sexy outfits for Jakarta gig
A manager for American pop singer Mariah Carey has reportedly indicated that the singer will not wear revealing attire in her concert in Indonesia next month, but would look sexy nonetheless. Carey will respect Indonesia's customs and will do her best to appear decently in the concert scheduled for February 14 in Jakarta, Carey's production manager Tom Hudak told Detikcom news portal.
"I have consulted the promoters here on what Mariah should wear. They have given their suggestions and I will put forward these suggestions to the management for consideration," said Mr Hudak. "It looks like in Indonesia, Mariah will not appear as revealing as she usually does," he said while inspecting the venue at the Jakarta Convention Centre.
Mr Hudak however said Carey, appearing as part of her Charmbracelet tour, would still look sexy. Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim nation but most Muslims practise a tolerant version of the faith. (ABC News Online)
