Chart talk

Again the only appearance Mariah makes on Billboard is with The Remixes on the Top Electronic Albums chart. The album makes a bulleted move to #16 in its 32nd week. Not sure what could have caused this slight increase if it was caused by anything at all.

What was happening this time five years ago? Mariah was charting on the albums chart with her compilation, #1's. It was sitting at #99 on the Billboard 200 and #75 on the R&B album chart. "I Still Believe" was her single at the time. It was #17 on the Adult Contemporary chart, #47 on R&B, #19 on R&B Singles Sales, #18 on Maxi-Singles Sales, #25 on Hot 100 Singles Sales, and #63 on the Hot 100. It peaked inside the top ten of all the aforementioned charts.

Mariah had a second single charting on the Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart with "My All/Fly Away (Butterfly Reprise)" at #42.
