Jimmy Jam has twins; working with Janet, Mariah

Grammy-Award winning producer Jimmy Jam took time out from some high-profile projects to catch the birth of two new bundles of joy. Jam's wife Lisa Harris gave birth on Thursday to healthy boy and girl twins Maximillian Lee and Isabella B, who weighed in at 7 lbs. and 6 lbs. 2 oz., respectively. This is the second birth for the Harris family, who already have a three-year-old son named Tyler.

Meanwhile, Jam and his Flyte Time Productions partner Terry Lewis are currently enjoying success with Mariah Carey's single, "Thank God I Found You," which they wrote and produced. The duo is currently in the studio collaborating with Carey and executive producing the soundtrack to her upcoming movie, "All That Glitters."

Jam and Lewis are also working on material for Janet Jackson's next album, as well as a Janet song to be included on the soundtrack to the "Nutty Professor" sequel, in which Janet will co-star. Other current projects for Jam and Lewis include writing and collaborating with Babyface for his upcoming album and producing several songs for Patti Labelle's forthcoming album.

Over the past twenty years, Jam and Lewis have written and produced over 100 singles and albums that have reached gold, platinum and multi-platinum sales status for some of the biggest names in music. Collaborators have included Janet Jackson, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, Mary J. Blige, Patti Labelle, and Boyz II Men.
