Mariah Carey brings joy to Disney
Christmas just wouldn't be right unless Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" was heard throughout bustling shopping malls over the world. Now the folks at Walt Disney World get to join in the fun during the holidays.
Carey's signed on to perform at the 21st annual Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade, where she'll sing "Joy to The World" as well as her holiday hit "All I Want for Christmas", which currently ranks as a top-10 seller and was recently one of the best-selling holiday songs on iTunes.
The two-hour parade, which will be hosted by Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, will be broadcast starting at 1 p.m. ET on December 25 on ABC, and will also feature performances from Ashanti, Kelly Clarkson, Diana DeGarmo, and country stars Wynonna Judd and Shedaisy. According to her publicist, Mariah would also like to produce and star in an annual Christmas Musical beginning next year. (Soul Shine)
