Mariah Carey's hot single "It's Like That" continues making it big worldwide. Today, we received news from The Phillipines. Mariah Carey's "It's like that" is still at the no. 1 spot in the 89.9 magic weekend countdown. Two weeks in a row she was stock there making her moves at the no.1 spot. "It's like that" is very in demand here in Manila. She's also the #1 at the weekend top 40 countdown in the 99.5 RT FM in 3 weeks.
Also, today, March 2nd The Oprah Winfrey Show gives us the opportunity to see Mariah make a dream come true for one very lucky fan! Check your local listings for station and airtime information in your area. Moreover, according to Mariah Connection, an album preview for Mariah's forthcoming release will be held in Paris today. The event is by invitation only and is for Radio, TV and other music press.
Finally, we have information on Mariah's new album release dates. In Germany "The Emancipation of Mimi" will also be released one week earlier than actually planned, on April 04, 2005. The people at Universal seem to be looking forward to the new album as well, cause as we were told "it's really going to be a hot record" and the cover is said to be "unbelievable" and "heavenly". They also confirmed Mariah's "Wetten Dass" visit in Berlin on March 19.
At the moment it looks like Mariah will stay in Berlin for the night (more information will be coming when in a few weeks probably), however it looks like when Mariah will visit Berlin again on April 2nd for the Echo Awards she really will be there only for her performance.
