Da Brat's birthday Chi style

She told the world what she was lookin' for, and on April 9, 2005 the West Side's own, female hip-hop rap artist Da Brat, readies to tell it all over again as she gets funkdafied all night long celebrating her birthday - twice over: First at the premier recording studio in the country, Chicago's Pressure Point, then at the brand new Harold Washington Cultural Center.

But she won't be doing it alone. She's invited some of her favorite celebrity friends like Mariah Carey, Jermaine Dupri, world-renown London turntable master, DJ Kofi, and two of Chicago's all-stars, Lisa-Raye and Twista, to help raise up all the Aries.

A hometown girl globally known for redefining the female MC genre and selling the records to back it up, Da Brat comes back home from the VH1 cameras and from the studio preparing to drop a brand new off-the-hook album to again put the spotlight on the Chi as only she can.

While the bash at the Pressure Point is by invitation and confirmation only, the party at the Harold Washington Cultural Center will be general admission. Both events, sponsored by Pressure Point Recording Studio and 3Vodka and underwritten by The Velvet Rope Group, Inc., begin at 9 PM. Pressure Point goes on to 12 midnight, while the Cultural Center keeps it going ‘till 3 in the morning.

R.S.V.P. early enough to secure a spot in what will go down as one of the year's hottest events as Da Brat shows ‘em all how we do here in the Chi.
