Hits Double Daily predicts Mimi at #2 again

The calm before the chart. Based on mid-week retail reports, Nine Inch Nails' new album might top the chart with 260.000 copies. Mariah wil stay at number 2 with 180.000 copies and Rob Thomas will climb one place to number 3 with 120.000 copies.

Last week's number one, Bruce Springsteen's Devils & Dust will fall to number 6 with 90.000 copies and last week's number 3, Bobby Valentino, will fall to number 7 with 80.000 copies. Other debuts in the top 10 might be the new Star Wars soundtrack at number 4 with 110.000 copies and Fall Out Boy at number 9 with 75.000 copies.

If Mariah will indeed sell another 180.000 copies next week, this means that she had passed the 1 million mark in just 4 weeks. Remember, Charmbracelet only sold 1.1 million altogether.
