The Emancipation Of Mimi drops one place
According to Hits Daily Double, "The Emancipation of Mimi" sells another 170,111 copies in its fifth week, down 13%, with a total of almost 1.2 million copies. On the Billboard charts, it will drop one place to number 3.
The new number 1 will be the Dave Matthews Band with the album "Stand Up", selling 484,907 copies. The new numbber 2 will be Weezer with the album "Make Believe", selling 203,590 copies. Last week's number 1, the Nine Inch Nails, will fall to number 5 with 87,745 copies sold.
Although the official sales for the album will be determined by SoundScan, Hits Daily Double is regarded to as a good and almost accurate measurement. The SoundScan figures apply to the Billboard charts and will be released later this week.
