Mariah's "Heartbreaker" is a record breaker

Mariah Carey has returned to a very familiar place with her new single, "Heartbreaker." With the release of the latest "Billboard" singles chart comes the news that Carey has once again hit number one with the single, giving her a total of 14 chart-toppers for her career. Carey now stands behind only the Beatles (at 20) and Elvis Presley (with 18) in the ranks of artists with the most number one hits.

Carey also ties the Beatles for most total weeks spent at number one, as her numerous hits have amassed a total of 59 weeks on top. The chart development also means that Carey is the only artist to score a number one hit in each year of the '90s, and the first artist to land a number one in each year of a decade since Paul Whiteman & his Orchestra pulled off that feat in the '20s.

While the original version of "Heartbreaker" pushed Carey to number one yet again, fans can soon expect a remix of the track featuring Snoop Dogg, Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, Da Brat, and DJ Clue.
