Mariah Carey Brazilian fan party
The Brazilian fan party takes place annually, in Rio de Janeiro, for 4 years. The previous editions were held at private clubs and had the goal to gather the fans and celebrate Mariah's Anniversary, the release of a new cd or just to show our love for Mariah, at a party made from fans, to fans.
The parties were so well known, we had snapshots placed at Mariah's official website (www.mariahcarey.com). Mariah herself left a voice message thanking the Brazilian lambs for the party (see New voice message).
This year we are expanding the party, in order to reach a bigger public, fans and not fans. So, we are taking the party to some of the biggest nightclubs on the country, on three state capitals at once. It is going to be the biggest Mariah Carey fan party ever.
The party will happen on May 27, 2006, simultaneously at Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and Florianópolis. The party is officially supported by Universal Music Brasil, that will also provide us with albums and singles to be given as gift to the fans. The clubs will be decorated with posters, there will be Mariah videos during the whole night, and of course, her songs. We will also have drag queen performances using Mariah remixes.
