Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman speaks of Mariah
Singer Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was recently interviewed by The Press-Enterprise and offered comments about Mariah. Below is an excerpt from the article. Working with Mariah Carey - for the No. 1 hit "One Sweet Day" - led to more attention for the group in 1995.
"She's an incredible talent," Stockman said of Carey. "She was in the business a little before we were. I was a fan myself; it was cool. Once you sit down and talk to her on an informal basis, with the shoes off and the sandals and slippers on, her views and perspectives are just as normal as anyone else's."
