Mariah performs at CBS upfront
Each of the networks is unveiling its fall lineup to advertisers this week, in hopes of selling commercial spots in advance for the fall season. This process is known as the upfront. CBS on Wednesday, May 17, at Carnegie Hall in New York City, unveiled a fall schedule with remarkably few changes, opting to go with only four new shows and to cancel its long-running Sunday night movie.
To the delight of the audience of advertisers, Mariah Carey, who will star in a CBS special, took the stage looking slim and healthy in a black spaghetti-strap cocktail dress.
