Mariah Carey readies summer tour
Mariah Carey will announce a summer tour in the coming days, according to her Web site, mariahcarey.com. Fans should join the Honey B. Fly fan club when the site relaunches this Friday to take part in a presale of four dates - in the Northeast and the Midwest - set to begin Monday morning. Carey will be touring behind last year's Grammy-winning blockbuster, The Emancipation of Mimi, which has sold more than six million copies.
There is a stripped down new version of the website running, but the website will not be finished within a few weeks. Here is the official announcement: "MariahCarey.com and HoneyBFly.com are coming together to form the ultimate Mariah Carey site. During this redesign, portions of both sites will not be available for a few weeks while we prepare the new site. But don't worry, the new site will be worth the wait. We are going to bring you even more content, exclusive contests and a whole lot more. All sorts of cool Mariah stuff will be coming your way.
While we work behind the scenes, MariahCarey.com will still be the site to hit when you are looking for the latest news and show dates. For all of the current Honey B. Fly members, don't worry, you will still have access to any upcoming ticket presales that will start on Monday.
