Jessica Simpson goes urban?
We don't mean to scare you but it looks like Jessica Simpson wants to be the new Mariah Carey. For her next album "A Public Affair", the musical brainwave has enlisted the talents of producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (Janet Jackson) and Lester Mendez (Shakira).
The first single and title track was written by Johnta Austin, who won a Grammy for Best R&B song of 2006 for Mariah's "We Belong Together". He also wrote "Miss You" for Aaliyah and "Just Be A Man (About It)" for Toni Braxton.
A video for the song was filmed last week in LA with director Brett Ratner (X-Men). The star-studded clip will feature guest appearances from Andy Dick, Christina Applegate, Ryan Seacrest and Christina Milian. (Undercover - Mariah Carey Philippines)
