Mariah and Skull to work together?

Skull
"Skull" (real name Jo Seong-jin), 28, a member of the Reggae & Hiphop duo Stony Skunk, is doing well in the US since his solo debut in that country. His US debut single "Boomdi Boomdi" ranked 16th on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hiphop Singles Sales chart on Saturday and climbed to 10th on the same chart dated August 4.

An official at his management YG Entertainment says "The top ten ranking is surprising even to us. The past two years' effort to penetrate the US underground music world is beginning to show. But it's only the beginning."

Skull's manager in the US is the brother of pop star Mariah Carey, Morgan Carey. YG says "Mariah Carey has conveyed her wish to work with Skull in her new album and her brother has also mentioned seeking a joint project during a media interview." It added that "Top US producers including Grammy winning Ross Hogarth are showing a keen interest in Skull's music, and related meetings will take place soon."
