Mariah Carey: married life is "fantastic"
The honeymoon may be over for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon - but the two are obviously
still basking in newlywedded bliss. Cannon was hard at work Thursday night, playing DJ
at an Operation Smile fund-raising event in New York City. And his new bride - wearing
five-inch heels and a fitted Ralph Lauren dress - was there to show her support.|
So, two weeks after their surprise island nuptials, how is married life going? "Fantastic,"
Carey told People. Later, she added, "It's a stone smash!" (Carey is an ambassador for
Operation Smile, which provides surgery to children with cleft palates and other facial
Cannon also took time out from spinning to sing his wife's praises. "It's a beautiful
thing," the Wild N' Out star told People of their marriage. "It's a beautiful situation...
carrying on and on each day."
So has he learned any of Carey's quirks since they've started living together? "I've been

immediately put their arms around each other and began whispering. Before long, the two
slipped outside into a waiting SUV.

I wish everyone involved to find peace moving forward.

One thing I will always remember about Oprah that impacted my life was when she said the 50's were the best years of her life and life only got better as we age. I was 21 at the time and I felt so unafraid of growing older after hearing her say that with such conviction. Like growing older was something exciting to look forward to. I agree that Opr... read more
