Mariah Carey's in-laws don't like her
Mariah Carey is not on good terms with her new husband Nick Cannon's parents. The "Touch
My Body" singer - who married Cannon in a secret ceremony on the Caribbean in April this
year - immediately got off on the wrong foot with her mother-in-law after bringing her
entire entourage to their first meeting, reports MediaTakeOut.
A source said, "When Mariah first met Nick's mother, she came with all her handlers. It
was almost like she was making a publicity stop. Nick's mother didn't appreciate that."
Mariah's partying and drinking is also said to cause Nick's parents - who are devout
Christians - concern.
"Mariah loves drinking champagne by the bottle. Her life is like one big party. I'm not
surprised that Nick's parent's are upset with his choice in a wife, they should be," the
source said.
