Mariah leads Billboard special Hot 100 chart
Billboard.com is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Hot 100 Chart in a big way, as they post all kinds of Hot 100-based charts each week leading up the September unveiling of the special All-Time Hot 100 chart and the commemorative Hot 100 Anniversary issue of Billboard Magazine.
Mariah leads the first special chart - Most Weeks at No. 1 By Artist with an astonishing count of 79 weeks spent at the Hot 100's pole position, 20 weeks ahead of The Beatles. On the Most No. 1s By Artist (All-Time), Mariah is ranked at #2, with 18 #1s, behind The Beatles (20) and ahead of Michael Jackson (13), Madonna (12) and The Supremes (12). (MariahCarey.com)
