Help For Heroes
The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and Forces charity Help for Heroes will join forces as The X Factor finalists release a single this weekend to raise cash for both charities. Proceeds from the track - a cover of Mariah Carey's 1993 hit Hero - will be divided equally between Help for Heroes and the Poppy Appeal.
The 12 finalists jumped at the chance to be part of the project and they will be delighted to perform the song live for the first time on The X Factor on Saturday's programme. The download will be live from midnight and it will then hit the shops on October 27th, just two weeks before Remembrance Sunday. (ITV)
