Chris Rea or Boney - which festive tune is the worst?
Daily Echo readers continue to have their say in our search to find the most irritating Christmas song. You are voting in your hundreds to name and shame the festive tunes that seem to be played to death in every single shop you go into, remaining stuck in your head hours after you get home.
Today we are looking for a second finalist as Mary's Boy Child by Boney M takes on Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea. The song you vote the most annoying will go into next week's final. The overall winner will be announced on Christmas Eve.
Yesterday saw Mistletoe And Wine by Sir Cliff Richard claim the first place in the final by attracting 62 per cent of the votes against 38 per cent for All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey. (Southern Daily Echo)
